Quickfix: VLC fullscreen dual monitor: wrong monitor!
Problem:
VLC fullscreen goes to the CRT. I want it on the LCD (or vice versa).
Solution:
Settings -> Preferences
Check “Advanced Options”
Video -> Output modules -> (right pane) Video output module -> Select “XVideo extension video output”
Video -> Output modules -> XVideo -> Screen for fullscreen mode -> Change to 1 (or 0).
Thank you, this was very accurate and helpful.

Hi,
I have installed VLC v0.9.8a in English but menu are still in French. Then I don’t manage to find the options your are speaking about. I am also running Windows then I do not have XVideo.
What would be the configuration to do for a Windows environment ?

Hi,
I am back to say that with VLC v1.0.1 the issue is gone.
You drag VLC to the screen you want to have the video Fullscreen on, then you double click VLC windows to go Fullscreen.
